On traditional assembly lines, the usual solution is to use multiple overhead rigging systems for component handling and vehicle movement. These solutions are expensive and require a lot of time and effort to build. They are also expensive to maintain due to their structural complexity.

In combination with conventional horizontal friction drive systems, bodies can be raised and lowered vertically from the ground using an EVO-TECH Rigid Chain Lift, with the stroke height adjusted to the needs of the process and the operator.

Problems with Conventional Power Transmission Conventional systems transmit power in the scissor mechanism. The power required to lift the table is approximately 7 times the lifting weight. The result: high tension and stress on the scissors, bearings and axles.

Advantages of Rigid Chainstay Power Transmission Rigid chain stay transmits power directly underneath the table, so only the power needed to lift the rated load plus the weight of the table itself is required. Capable of withstanding high push and pull forces and can be folded or rolled into a bin when retracted. The result: less power required and less tension and wear on the lifting mechanism.

Conventional shear lifts require a lot of maintenance and lack precision and repeatability. And a malfunctioning scissor lift can cause an entire automotive plant to shut down.

Rigid chains are completely mechanical and durable. The system is easy to maintain, with little wear and tear in high-frequency usage scenarios. All components are easily accessible during maintenance and easily replaced if necessary.
